Indoor Seed-Starting is not Rocket Science… or Is It?
Thou the calendar says early February, today I planted my first vegetable seeds. I am starting some seeds indoors… just ‘cuz I can! Usually, I just buy from the racks at the local garden centers, but this year is different. This year, I purchased some Seed Starter Mix, along with the “kits”… those peat pots, with the plastic cases clear “greenhouse” covers (all sold at big-box stores). At the same time, I also purchased quite a few seed packets. I purchased seeds for veggies that usually are not found at the garden centers, or produce aisle. New flavors, new recipes, new attitude! This is an experiment for me, just so you know… I have never attempted anything like this before!
